ABSTRACT: This paper deal with laboratory experiments for pollutant transport characteristics in the cohesion less soil at the impulse one dimensional conditions. Results from the field experiments in two dimensional conditions and simple solution for prediction of impulse pollution of groundwater are given. If self-purification processes are not sufficient to eliminate the pollution, it is possible to use pumping or sealing systems.
