ABSTRACT: In area s of water resources, which are situated in the villages, are restricted industrial and building activity in order to protect groundwater. In some cases geological conditions allow to reduce these limitations. Geophysical measurements can also considerably contribute to these differentiations. Information from vertical electric al sounding, self - potential and geological results in surrounding area were used to solve problems in the one with different degree of groundwater exposure around the "Teplička" water resource. In these extents we defined conditions of human activity in neighboring protective zone with minimal negative influence of groundwater quality.
