ABSTRACT: Defined protected areas of healing and bottled mineral waters had different importance in 19th and 20th century. In protected areas the knowledge of water origin had been reflected (juvenile, infiltration – meteoric waters). According to the opinion on juvenile, respectively tectonically (deep situated fractures) mineral waters origin, were changed protection their spring. According to infiltration theory separately is protected discharging, transit – accumulation and infiltration area. After having knowledge about the water age 26 – 28 thousand years, in 21th century the need for protection of infiltration area is not more needed.
